Spring
April 2, 2012
One of the finest sights and smells of early spring is wild garlic. Often carpeting woodland with its heady mild garlic / oniony smell, it’s the first sign things are starting to stir in the ground.
The vivid green shoots are only here for a short time so you have to be super quick on the foraging front as they a best when young. Have a wander out to some local woodland and you sure to find them. Pick a few tender shoots and get online to find a recipe, there’s plenty out there!
